Arrange the room around collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and return.
Start with the routine that already happens in the room, then place storage and tools where each step naturally occurs. Avoid adding containers simply to fill empty space.
Choose solutions that remain easy to use when the room is busy. Clear access, simple categories and enough breathing room usually matter more than maximum capacity.
